Some link, others hotlink, others I stumble across as it’s usually the same pics (pink cakes, hunter wellies and a few others) and I can find them through searching.

I do have an etsy shop but have only sold one thing (haha!) but it’s other people’s etsy shops that are where the problems arise. There are big concerns within the Blythe doll community as people are stealing others’ pictures and selling them as prints/printing them onto other things and selling them on etsy and ebay. So not only is there the whole image theft thing going on, but the thieves are profiteering too.

These pictures are gorgeous! What an amazing vacation idea. lighthouses have always had a magic feeling about them, but I’ve been scared of them since watching Pete’s Dragon a bazillion times. The storm scene always scared the bajesus put of me.

I’m curious how you are finding your pictures out there? Do they always link to you? I’ve really been considering it too, but haven’t for the exact reasons you talked about above.

Massively *LOVE* lighthouses too. Wanted to be a lighthouse keeper when I was younger but remember once going *up* a lighthouse after having being told about the really bright light, and then being scared stiff at the top thinking that they would turn the light on and I would go blind and then get fried alive. Ho hum.

Yeah, the pic thing. I’m finding at least one stolen pic each week right now and it really hurts me. Puts me off blogging. It’s the reason I don’t post many Blythe pics these days as when they get stolen there’s the whole ebay/etsy issue to deal with too. I hate watermarking as it makes me look really arrogant as at the end of the day they’re just silly photos I’ve taken and I can’t really believe anyone is that interested really, but at the same time it’s the principle. I hate watermarks, but I hate it when people take my photos and post them on their own website.
