Finally after five nights of sleeping in the guest room so as not to keep the others awake with my coughing and night sweats, I return to the marital/family bed to find BOTH my husband AND child SNORING THEIR GUTS OUT.

Oh well. I probably won’t be getting much sleep anyway thanks to my third blocked duct in five days. At least it’s a different side tonight for a change but it’s proving to be a hard one to shift. Oliver and I worked together all day and I worked on it alone for two solid hours before turning in for the night but to no avail. Sigh. I’m now hoping that the sleep fairies will vanish it away by morning. But I suppose that can only happen IF THE BOYS IN THIS HOUSE WILL STOP SNORING. GAH!

I sympathise, as I have a snorer too and sometimes it gets so bad I do have to go to the spare room for a night or two to catch up on sleep, but i always hate having to admit that the snoring is that bad because T always feels so awful about it. I hope you manage some sleep. Jane x

My husband went to the couch last night because of my snoring. I have had a chronic stuffy nose since I got pregnant, it makes for some sleepless nights! I am sending unclogged thoughts your way. You are a nursing champ, though! I hope I can pull through like you do when times are rough!

Hats off to breastfeeding, Oliver has been fine throughout this whole thing. I have actually wondered if my recovery is taking so long because all my antibodies are going to him ;)

Oooh, and the sleep fairies came!! All that massage must have helped a bit as when I did the night feed it wasn’t so bad. I still have it a bit this morning, but Oliver’s still asleep so hasn’t had breakfast yet.

Unfortunately I may have moved back in too soon- yet *another* night waking every 2 hours to change pyjamas from the night sweats. When is this going to end?!

a) When you find the cure for THE HORRIFIC SNORING, please let me know. I need to work that magic on my husband too.

b) UGH. Good luck with the ducts. I’m glad you’re feeling better on the flu front, though.

One cleared duct got replaced by two new ones and I haven’t been able to shift them for over 48 hours so now I have to call the doctor. This is horrible. It feels like someone’s put a hex on me :(
