By the way, THEY’RE STILL THERE. I have no idea which type they are, but I’m keen to find out. One thing I’m pretty sure of though is that they’re not poiosonous as We don’t really have any posonous creep crawlies over here in the UK.

It’s also HOUSE SPIDER season here now, YF had to remove a HUGE one from the stairs no long ago, bleaugh

The spiders are creepishly amazing…had so show my daughter…she loves all things creepy! Do you know what kind of spiders they are? I’ve never seen anything like that…great photos as always!

I’m really glad I came here before FilmChris did today, as he HATES spiders. I am keeping a look out on your site for the next couple of days to give him the “All Clear!”

Good grief. I’ve never seen anything like it! That’s really amazing. I also don’t mind them as long as they don’t hassle me.

As for the Job That Was … glad you’re out of the stress-pool … and if you’d been working, you’da missed the whole spider thing! Nice to have a bit of time for the small but interesting things

That is amazing! I don’t mind spiders at all (but don’t get me started on slugs). We had a spider who spun a massive web along our compost bin last year, obviously to eat all the midges compost attracts! I became quite attached to it, and when I couldn’t reach the bin anymore, I carefully cut part of the web off without damaging it. I was most upset when she got washed away in the floods

PS – I’m hearing ya about the bleeding of staff at your old place. There’s a near-revolution afoot at John’s gaff at the moment. You reap what you sew as a manager, huh?

WOW! The pictures are incredible! They are so teeny tiny.

We read tonight in “James and the Giant Peach” that killing spiders is bad luck. Hubby said that our string of bad luck lately was my fault, because when they’re in the house, he’s the one *ordered* to kill the spiders. Outside of my domain, I’m kosher with them! I find them fascinating!
