Three phonecalls to an offshore helpdesk in India, one visit from a telephone engineer, and an entire re-wired system later and we’re back online. Pheeew what a relief! I didn’t realise how much I enjoy the internet. Or need it- I had an outstanding ebay auction to pay (for a dolly hat) and was also in the middle of booking a holiday cottage in the Peak District for when The Good Doctor visits next week and needed the internet to get the phone number to finalise the details. Trivial matters, but stress-inducing nonetheless. So since being back online, I’ve bought that little hat, booked said cottage, and I’ve also caught up with 1, 2, 3 of my 365 days of photos (a new little project I started the other week where I have to post one self portrait every day for a year). Oooh, that included THIS PHOTO which is MOMENTOUS!

Yes, that’s the VERY LAST TIME I had to wear a certain uniform, WOOT!! I had my last day at work, so no more horrendously early starts for me which I’m extremely pleased about.

Mm, I have breathing difficulties when our internet doesn’t work … I use it for everything from online banking to looking up knitting stitches I don’t understand! I barely have to leave the house to shop these days too!

And hooray for being able to abandon nasty t-shirts and certain uniforms and early starts!! Whoo hooooo! [But we do expect to see more activity here at PH as a result - certain areas require updating as I think there are plastic people we haven't met yet!

You’re like me. I was practically climbing the walls! Although I did get to bed earlier for the two nights we didn’t have it
Aahh yes, that is my plan, to take more dolly pics. And it’s safe to do so now as it turns out that not only does DrMrNin read the posts on here, but he also reads the COMMENTS too, and saw that I had put that I had 12. Unless C2 (housemate) told him. Gah. I got challenged on the phone earlier this evening. In fact I only have ELEVEN here now, for #12 is my forthcoming birthday present. It’s just Fleur who I have to introduce properly over here now, although you’ve already met her on flickr
Sooooooo…. any news on your Happy Harbor yet?

I think you probably had to take early retirement to look after all those girls and what’s this I see, you’ve snuck in another.
