You're all too kind :D I made the quilt from packs of pre-cut squares that were all from the same fabric range, which took out a lot of the stress of choosing the different colours and getting it all to balance. Some people would call that cheating, but I wanted to keep it easy until I'd got the knack...last thing I'd want for myself would be to get it all wrong and never want to quilt again. I think I got it right this time. Oh, I'm even more pleased that I've handed my notice in- there have been some HUGE staffing timetable changeovers in the past week and it doesn't feel like the same place.
