I mean we have a lot of pretty places, but the oldest things that we have in my area are only about 150 years old. (Of course, my house is getting to be close to one of the oldest things in the area, so I could say that I live in history everyday technically, but then in order to have a livable house we have had to do a lot to it, so it doesn't look like it did back then (sorry, that was a really bad run one sentence--I do know haw to use English correctly, but tend not to do it)) Anyway, such a beautiful place to see even, or especially, on a rainy day! You had mentioned a while back about wanting to make some Christmas ornaments and it peaked my interest because I make mini knitted stockings and sweaters for ornaments and my wonderful husband makes leather ornaments. I love the look of the fog on the hillside, too. It adds a certain mystery to the landscape and it makes that cup of tea (or coffee) all the more welcome once you're back inside.
